An old, cracked or leaking toilet could be unnecessarily costing you money!
A leaking toilet can waste more than 60,000 litres of water a year. Signs your toilet needs repair or an upgrade are:
-
small (or large) cracks on the cistern or bowl / pan
-
water constantly running into the bowl / pan from the cistern
-
the cistern is very slow to fill
-
water is leaking from any of the pipe connections
-
higher water level in the bowl of the toilet
-
a strange sound after the toilet is flushed
-
water is around the toilet base
-
it is not a toilet with a dual-flush system
If you decide to replace / upgrade your toilet, a new water-efficient, dual-flush toilet can contribute to reducing the cost of your water bill.
Want to REDUCE the cost of your WATER BILL? A toilet with a dual-flush system can SAVE up to 8 litres of water with every flush!
Need a Brisbane plumber to install your new dual-flush toilet?
Whether it is for a brand new house, a bathroom renovation or you would just like a shiny new, water-efficient toilet installed, our Howzat Plumbing team have experience installing toilets and the required drainage to residential properties throughout Brisbane.
Different toilet styles available to suit your bathroom, ensuite or powder room are:
Closed-coupled toilets: This is a traditional style of toilet which is both quick and easy to install. The cistern and toilet pan are connected in one compact unit which also hides the flush pipe.
Wall hung toilets: These modern toilets hang on the wall creating a floating effect. The cistern is then concealed in the wall providing a minimalistic look. This style of toilet also enables it to be installed at a height of your choosing.
Back to wall toilets: The back of the cistern sits above the toilet pan and the whole unit sits flush against the wall (meaning dust cannot gather on the floor behind the toilet pan).
Please don't hesitate to contact us should you have a question about which toilet would be most suitable for installation in your home.
